The crab cocktail was a huge pile of lump crab. For 7$, it is a pretty good deal, especially compared to a regular Bloody Mary for 10$. The shooter was strong! I watched it being made- they used a good inch of vodka, an equal amount of Bloody Mary mix, and a large freshly shucked oyster. These were in the stews, I’m pretty sure the ones they use for the cocktails and salads are higher quality.īetween the 2 of us, we had a Bloody Mary oyster shooter, lump crab cocktail, Bouillabaisse, and Cioppino.
The only thing I can knock them for is that the shrimp were not very good- just smallish generic imported ones. It’s fairly pricey, but the portions are generous and the quality. It’s a small place, and the food is made to order. We came in mid afternoon, and had to wait about 15 minutes for seats to open up.
